Dr. George Kang graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1999 while on a United States Naval Scholarship. As a Navy Dentist in Yokosuka, Japan and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii he was able to complete a 3-year program consisting of an Advanced Education in General Dentistry and internships in oral surgery, periodontal surgery, root canals and oral medicine.
Dr. Kang’s education continued when he moved to Portland, Oregon with the prestigious Mish Implant Institute. His extensive training has given him the opportunity to provide oversight and training to dentists from all over the world. Dr. Kang was the President of one of the largest dentist-led group practices on the west coast. He then moved to Beijing where he became the General Manager and Chief Dental Officer for the largest JCI Accredited international hospital group in China. Dr. Kang is happy to be back home in Oahu where his sons are attending college at UH. Dr. Kang provides implant services, bone grafting, gum surgery, wisdom teeth extractions and root canals in addition to General Dentistry. He enjoys creating a friendly and relaxing experience for his patients. During his free time, Dr. Kang enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons.
