Dr.Emily Iyomasa
Passion for Dentisty
Dr. Emily Iyomasa was born and raised in Honolulu. She is a proud of graduate of Kaimuki High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. Her dental training took her to the Midwest, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Iyomasa went on to the University of Iowa where she completed specialized postdoctoral training program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). She finally followed her heart back home to Oahu, where she has had the privilege and pleasure of treating kama'aina and military families since 2003.
Dr. Iyomasa is passionate about ensuring a comfortable dental experience for every patient, young and old, through her gentle approach to dentistry. She strives to create a foundation of trust with patients through quality care and sound communication. Being a mother of three herself, she loves working with children and is always striving to discover ways to ensure their formative dental experiences are positive ones. This also resonates when she treats patients with dental anxiety and is able to help them gain back a healthy smile.

In her free time, Dr. Iyomasa enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, and keeping up with all of their sports and extracurricular activities.Â
